Control Centers

Stewart & Stevenson’s Control Systems Group offers customers Control Centers, which provide full access to equipment controls as well as engineering analysis systems aimed at centralizing all operational duties. S&S Control Centers can contain engineering and job monitoring computer systems, power generation and distribution equipment, data acquisition system, equipment control stations, and communication equipment. Our Control Centers are designed to be “Oilfield Tough,” and can be found in some of the world’s most extreme environments. Standard units are capable of operating for prolonged periods in climatic conditions with an ambient temperature range of -40°C to + 50°C and are designed for driving over nongrade road surfaces in the rough, windy and dusty environments typically found in the oilfield. The Control Center’s sturdy insulated control cabin contains all the control and computer equipment needed to provide a suitable operating environment for company service engineers, operators, and customer representatives.
