Widest Range Of Nitrogen Pumping Equipment In The Industry

Stewart & Stevenson manufactures nitrogen pumping units in fired and non-fired (heat recovery) versions for both onshore and offshore oilfield use.

Heat recovery versions employ a unique method of loading the diesel engine, indirectly providing the heat required to vaporize liquid nitrogen. Standard units are available in 90K and 360K SCFH versions capable of pumping pressures of 15,000 psi. Stewart & Stevenson manufactures CO2 pumpers and transports.

Fired nitrogen pumping systems use electronic controls and advanced burner technology to efficiently vaporize liquid nitrogen for high rate applications such as nitrified fracturing and industrial plant work. Available from 360K up to 1.2 million SCFH, fired versions can be built on a variety of carrier types as required to meet the needs of the operating environment. Stewart & Stevenson uses only the highest quality and most reliable cryogenic components in our nitrogen equipment designed with oilfield applications in mind.

Stewart & Stevenson also manufactures noncryogenic gaseous nitrogen generation using membrane technology.

In areas of the world where liquid nitrogen is not readily available, they are used for:

  • Traditional Coiled Tubing Work
  • Foam Cementing and Fracturing Applications
  • Underbalanced Drilling
  • Nontraditonal Nitrogen Floods in Depleted Reservoirs

Nitrogen Pumping Systems

Stewart & Stevenson is an original equipment manufacturer of non-fired (heat recovery) and direct-fired nitrogen vaporization systems for use in the oilfield services and under balanced drilling industries. Standard configurations to vaporize and pump nitrogen provide from 90,000 SCFH to 1,200,000 SCFH at discharge pressures up to 15,000 psi.

Membrane Systems

Stewart & Stevenson manufactures noncryogenic gaseous nitrogen generation and pumping units using membrane technology. In areas of the world where liquid nitrogen is not readily available or cost-prohibitive to transport, membrane generation and pumping units are the solution. These units have been used for traditional coiled tubing work, foam cementing and fracturing applications, underbalanced drilling and nontraditional nitrogen floods in depleted reservoirs.

Stewart & Stevenson couples quality aftermarket service and parts support with every product that we sell.
