Stewart & Stevenson’s Offshore Packages provide electrical power for platform habitation modules as well as a wide range of power for drilling and well servicing. Decades of engineering expertise go into every project to ensure our customers get the exact power solution to meet their need.

We provide the on shore and offshore drilling and well servicing market with new and refurbished packages that include engines, power units, generator packages and pump packages that increase productivity, improve efficiencies and reduce costs. We engineer, build, test and certify generator packages for the oil and gas industry.

SCR Systems

Stewart & Stevenson designs, builds, and supplies custom SCR systems. The "SCR" system typically consists of the DC-2000 SCR drive, motor controls, driller and mud pump console, AC generator control and transformers. When required, the system is installed in an environmentally controlled power control room.

Generator Controls

The generator control includes the engine generator regulator, which controls speed and voltage of the diesel generator sets. In addition, the system lineup contains backup control, synchronizing equipment and bus feeder breakers. A motor control center is provided for control and protection of auxiliary equipment.

Medium Voltage Switchgear

Stewart & Stevenson provides low and medium voltage switchgear to various industries, including but not limited to power generation, electric utilities, oil well markets and marine applications. We design and manufacture to various standards, including ANSI, IEEE, Nema, ABS, USCG, Lloyds Register and DNV. We are also the premier manufacturer of AC and DC Drive Systems for oil well drilling, propulsion and compressor applications.
